These Presses have the most rigid structure, since then main frame work is made out of plates from which opening is cut out to form the daylight of the press. Since there are no welded joints in this frame profiles, deflection is minimum in this type of presses. However, there is a limitation in the stroke length and tonnage, that can be supplied in ring frame type of presses because of limitation in getting large steel profiles and also because of the difficulties in machining the larger plates accurately.
